Game Types

There are many ways to play RadBall. Here are a few examples. Also, please feel free to leave a comment if you have come up with a new way to play or would like to have your rules implemented into our list of rules.

ACTIVE PLAY (for high speed mayhem and lots of running.)

Original RADball - Play using normal rules as described in Rules.
The original game that everyone loves. Teams try to put the ball into the hoop to win.

• 1 vs 1, 1 vs 1 vs 1. 3 people playing as separate teams.

• 2 vs 2, 3 vs 3, etc.

DODGE RADball
Players use 2 balls to chase each other and try to knock each other out of the game like in dodge ball. However, the twist is that a player can stay in the circle and if they retrieve a ball that is thrown and then make a shot in the RADball hoop, they will be re-entered into the game. The game ends when one person is left.

MULTIball RADball
This is for when you really want to get crazy. Add in another ball to make the action even more wild.
• 3 vs 3 vs 3 or 4 vs 4. Add a second ball.

• 3 vs 3 vs 3 vs 3. Add a third ball. (12 people total)

IN-AND-OUT RADball
In this version teams are pitted against each other by splitting team members up into offense and defense. One person from each team stands inside of the circle trying to intercept the ball, while the other team members try to shoot the ball through the hoop on the outside of the take back circle. If a person intercepts a ball their team gets 1 point. If a player makes a shot through the hoop they get 1 point. Teams play to 11. Players can switch between offense and defense as much as needed, but 1 person must always be on the inside of the circle.

PARTY PLAY (for beer drinking frivolity and no running - sort of like cornhole)
Dueling RADball
• 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2. Teams stand on the edge of the take back circle with hoop in center. Use two balls and team mates stand on the same side. Teams take turns throwing ball at hoop. 1 point for hitting the pole or hoop. 3 points for making it in the hoop. Play to 11 and win by 2. Hoop can be locked down as to avoid it spinning.
