A day of fun while playing every man for himself RADball. It's kind of like '21' for basketball, but with a swift kick in the face.
 

RADball 5 on 5

Another game of RADball has taken place. This time an epic 5 on 5. Here is a little preview of the game.

The New Hoop Prototype

RADball is continuing to progress and today I have finished the latest and greatest hoop prototype. The hoop has a sturdy base that is roughly 5' in diameter. It s made into an X to increase stability. The new spinning hoop is made of lighter weight plastic and was able to be made into a better circular shape rather than the oblong oval the last prototype had. And last but not least, the net is a much better rendition of what the final net could be. It allows the hoop to catch the ball rather than passing through like the last net and is attached through small holes made in the hoop. Take a look at The Hoop version 2.

A new game..

Today a new form of Radball was created. Rad-Dodgeball. This new form of Radball mixes Radball with dodgeball. Players must try to hit other players while avoiding being hit themselves. If players are hit they can still grab a ball and shoot it through the hoop to reenter play. The game is over when one player is left standing. Multiple balls can be used to create more havoc... play at your own risk, because it is addictive and fun.

The first beta run

You'll have to excuse the heavy breathing.. The game is pretty tiring, but fun.

I have created the prototype of the hoop. It is not perfect but it has been fun to test out. The fun of the game is apparent even with a prototype hoop.
